Parts:
http://www.biketiresdirect.com/ I buy all my bike tires, tubes and wheel tape here. Cheaper than Walmart.
http://www.ebay.com/ eBay, Wow what a source for hard to find, but be careful not to over pay.
http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites CraigsList is excellent for finding the used bicycle you are looking for, and sometimes parts. Safety Fact: Do not meet people at your home or there home. Meet in a public place, that is what I do. If you buy bikes from me, or want to donate parts or bikes to me we will meet somewhere; for example, I meet folks at the Subway or our park in Frankston, Texas all the time. Be safe and smart.

Here are some other ideas for Parts:
Amazon.com They have tires and other items for newer bicycles.
Local WalMart (good if you need a quick tube, chain or tire ($20 a tire, so do your best to buy them ahead of time online).
Local bike stores if you have any, we have 2 in Tyler TX, Simpson's Fitness and Adventure Sports and Elite. The repair man at Simpson's is excellent, and he is a nice young man.
*I no longer use Elite since Sport sold the store. Went in looking for Sport to ask a bike shifter question, and the worker told me he had to sell the store. I decided to ask the worker..... I don't do well with rude and stupid, so I won't be going back and no longer recommend Elite, or whatever name they may use.
Shipping bicycles:
1. Use https://www.shipbikes.com/ . They are more cost effective than anyone else to ship a bike.
2. No longer using Elite in Tyler, TX.
Canton 1st Monday: There are times I have found affordable vintage bike parts here.
Thrift stores are a good bet at times, but be sure to barter because you do not want to over pay. Bicycles are not cheap to repair. You can usually by a new WalMart bike if you have to much wrong with your old bike.
